In case you didn't know, "Hamilton" debuted in Minneapolis on Wednesday.

Anticipation for the Broadway hit has hit fever pitch, with tickets like gold dust as performers prepared to take to the stage at the Orpheum Theatre for the first time.

And judging by the response of those lucky enough to get tickets, "Hamilton" is everything it promised to be.

But the audience played their part in a successful first night, with several of those involved in the production tweeting about the hot crowd for opening night.

The enthusiasm from the actors was more than matched by those in the audience, with Heather Hultquist writing on Twitter: "Hamilton was amazing! The cast is fantastic. You all sounded fantastic."

The show is on a six week run, and there are still tickets available through the Hennepin Theatre Trust's official seller, Ticketmaster.

Unfortunately, it looks like you'll have to spend more than $175 to get your hands on one.

You can try your luck however by entering the daily ballot for $10 tickets here.
