Backstreet Boys announce new album, and a new world tour that's coming to Minnesota

The Backstreet Boys have announced that they're releasing a new album early next year in advance of going on their biggest arena tour in nearly two decades. 

The new album "DNA" will be released Jan. 25, 2019, followed by their "DNA World Tour" launching May 11 with performances in Europe and North America, including a stop at St. Paul's Xcel Energy Center on Saturday, July 20. 

Tickets for the show go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14. Backstreet Boys fan club members can access pre-sale tickets beginning 10 a.m. Saturday through 9 a.m. Sunday.   

Every ticket comes with a copy of their new album.

In other music news, Iron Maiden announced they'll be playing the Xcel Energy Center on Aug. 26 next year as part of its Legacy of the Beast tour.
