Big crowd welcomes the Wahlberg brothers to the Mall of America
A chance to meet a trio of celebrity brothers brought the crowds to the Mall of America on Thursday evening.
The Wahlberg brothers comprising actors Mark and Donnie, and their chef brother Paul landed in the Twin Cities for the official opening of their newest Wahlburgers restaurant.
The burger joint opened last week at the megamall, their first in Minnesota, with grocery store chain HyVee the franchisee.
"Thank you for the amazing turnout tonight in Minneapolis!!" Mark Wahlberg wrote on Twitter (though technically they were in Bloomington.)
The trio took to a stage to screams and cheers and addressed the crowd, answering questions, going on a meet-and-greet, and taking photos with fans.
The rotunda at the MOA was emblazoned with Wahlburgers signage for the event, with visitors crowding the floor and the balconies to get a glimpse of the Wahlbergs.
