Big goat, or maybe it's a sheep, has been on the loose in Andover
An adventurous animal has been making the rounds in Andover the past few days.
The goat has been spotted in the 2900 block of 149th Avenue Northwest in Andover, with the Anoka County Sheriff's Office saying the animal's hobbies appear to be "spring walks, gardening and grilling" (one of the photos of the animal show it near a grill).
A spokesperson for the sheriff's office told Bring Me The News they believe the goat has been in the area for the past few days, noting they've received calls from homeowners about the animal.
"The goat is too large to fit into a squad vehicle, so we are unable to transport it to animal control," Tierney Peters, the community relations coordinator for the sheriff's office, said, though a later tweet revealed they'd managed to get the gruff customer to animal control.
Nonetheless, officials are bleating with the public to find the animal's owner, asking anyone with information on who owns the goat to call 763-427-1212.
Some people on the sheriff's office's social media posts about the animal suggest it may be a sheep and not actually a goat. Only time will tell.
