Bogart's Doughnuts to open its first location in St. Paul
After building a legion of fans in Minneapolis, Bogart's Doughnut Co. is now seeking to conquer St. Paul.
The bakery has two locations in Minneapolis currently, the doughnut shop it opened in Uptown four years ago and a kiosk in the IDS Center downtown.
On Wednesday, it was announced as the latest tenant moving into the soon-to-open Keg and Case Market at the old Schmidt Brewery building in St. Paul.
"Morning is always better with Bogart's Doughnuts!" Keg and Case said on Instagram. "Please give a big welcome to our new Keg and Case vendor. #doughnutlove."
Keg and Case has revealed the bulk of its vendors ahead of its expected opening later this summer, with others including Pimento Jamaican Kitchen, Five Watt Coffee, and In Bloom – a concept from the team behind Revival.
Bogart's new place is going to be more like its IDS Center kiosk than its Uptown home, with the Star Tribune reporting it's moving into a 10-foot-by-10-foot stall.
It still expects to sell its full range of baked goods, including the rich brioche doughnuts for which it's known.
