While their background is in music, they're also passionate foodies, and count Minnesota celebrity chef Andrew Zimmern – whom they call "Food Dad" – among their friends.

Zimmern helped executive produce their 2017 Travel Channel miniseries "Southern Road Trip with The Potash Twins."

This story about the twins and Zimmern, as told by Bravo, is actually quite lovely, as the pair were raised in a kosher household and they were vegetarians for 15 years.

However, their father told them they could eat pork for the first time if it was with Zimmern or Anthony Bourdain.

They eventually had their first taste of pork with Zimmern, who one Thanksgiving flew in special ham from Europe for them, and called their father afterwards to let him now.

They'll now combine their love of music with their passion for food in their new series – speaking of which, you can see them in musical action in this video , taken at the Icehouse in Minneapolis.
