For those of you who remember me from my KARE-11 days, or have followed me here to BringMeTheNews, I thought I'd share some news about a new chapter in my career.

In a few weeks, I’ll be joining the FOX 9 News team as a special projects reporter (and popping up on the anchor desk from time to time).

Of course this means I’ll be leaving my duties as Editor In Chief of However, I’ll still be working with my boss, mentor and friend Rick Kupchella in a few other roles, so there won’t be any sad good-byes.

I want to say a special "thanks" to you, the BMTN readers, for your loyalty. Ive always appreciated hearing from you – when we’ve done something right and when we’ve fallen short. I hope you’ll keep the feedback and support coming.

So, here we go. I’m excited to get reacquainted with you all.

See you soon,

Amy Hockert
