Brother Ali to headline West Bank Music Festival

Twin Cities-based rapper Brother Ali is headlining the fourth annual West Bank Music Festival in August, The Current reports.

Brother Ali will be on the main stage at the day-long Aug. 17 event, which also features festival gigs at several Cedar Ave. venues in Minneapolis, including Whiskey Junction, Acadia Cafe, Red Sea, Nomad World Pub, Triple Rock Social Club, the Cedar Cultural Center, the Cabooze and Palmer's.

The Current lists the complete lineup.

The West Bank Music Festival -- which also feature an arts quarter -- launched in 2010 as an homage to the historic and celebrated CedarFest of years past, according to the festival's website.
