Buy one, get one free at Chipotle for Veterans Day

The chain calls it "a small (foil-wrapped) token of thanks for your service."

Hearing "thank you for your service" is great, but it's even better when it comes with a free burrito.

For veterans and active-duty military members, that'll be the case on Tuesday at every Chipotle location nationwide.

The popular chain is holding a "Military Appreciation" sale from 5 p.m. to close in honor of Veterans Day (which is actually this Saturday). It's a Buy-One-Get-One free deal that applies to burritos, bowls, salads, and orders of tacos, according to Chipotle's website

The company says it's "a small (foil-wrapped) token of thanks for your service."

All you have to do is go into the store (walk-in orders only; the deal doesn't apply to online orders), show them your military I.D., and you'll get one free "BOGO" item with your order.

If you've been out of the service for a long time and don't have an I.D. anymore, don't worry. Just bring some other proof of your time in the military – even a photo of you in uniform counts, Chipotle says.

There are over 60 locations in Minnesota, most in the greater Twin Cities area – click here for a full list.
