Top-selling country singer Garth Brooks will be play the Fargodome this May – his first concert at the venue since his "legendary" concerts in 1993 and 1998.

The "Friends in Low Places" singer will take to the stage with his wife Trisha Yearwood on May 7, returning to a venue where each of his five previous shows drawn more than 22,500 fans and are all in the building's top 10 in attendance, according to Inforum.

In 2014, Brooks also set records with his Minneapolis concerts. He sold 201,000 tickets for his 11 shows at the Target Center – the highest number of tickets sold for a single city in North America.

But Brooks doesn't only hold records in concert sales.

He tops the Recording Industry Association of America list as the best selling solo album artist of all-time, ahead of Elvis Presley, reports the Rolling Stone.

Minnesotans heading across the border to see Brooks can expect to hear a variety of his old and new music. At his most recent concert in Massachusetts, Brook played two songs from his newest album "Man Against Machine," threw it back to his first single “Much too Young (to Feel this Damn Old)” and took requests from the audience, according to Inforum.

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 18 at 10:00 a.m. at FARGODOME.com, costing $74.98 including taxes and fees. There is an eight ticket limit per purchase.
