Cher to tour for first time in 5 years, with a St. Paul stop planned

The music legend will arrive in the Twin Cities next May.
Publish date:

Following a successful appearance in the hit movie sequel, Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, Cher is going on tour.

The legendary singer will set off on "The Here We Go Again" tour in January, and is planning to make a stop at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on Saturday, May 18.

While we're sure you'll here some of Cher's own classic songs, be prepared to hear a lot of ABBA as well.

This September, Cher is releasing Dancing Queen, an album in which she covers a number of the Swedish band's classic tracks.

Tickets go on sale to the general public for the Xcel Energy Center show next Friday, Sept. 14, with a presale open to Citi card holders starting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

Tickets will be available on both and Ticketmaster, as well as at the Xcel box office.

It will be her second tour since her "Living Proof: The Farewell Tour" ended in 2005, which she previously said was going to be her last.
