Need yourself a heartwarming dose of feel good news? Today it's coming from Chisago Lakes.

It concerns a young boy, Easton Partridge, who has a sensory processing disorder and was approaching his 6th birthday.

To the absolute heartbreak of his parents Brian and Amanda, he said he didn't have any friends he wanted to invite to his party because "they don't like me."

But as they explained on Facebook, their son's plight filtered through to community members Laura Greene and Jessica Keeney.

Together, they made sure Easton had plenty of friends to celebrate with on Monday, as the community surprised him with a party that included the local fire department (with mascot in tow) and the sheriff's office, who brought along a K9 for him to meet.

"I love our Chisago Lakes community so much," Amanda Partridge wrote.
