Duluth is home to one of America's best delis, Food Network says
Duluth is home to one of the best delis in the United States.
That's according to Food Network, which included Northern Waters Smokehaus in its list of the 51 Best Delis in the country.
The deli, located in the DeWitt–Seitz Building in Duluth's downtown waterfront, is praised for its range of smoked fish, meats and charcuterie.
Singled out for special mention is its most famous sandwich, the Cajun Finn, which comprises scallion cream cheese, cajun-seasoned smoked Atlantic salmon, pepperoncinis, roasted red peppers, and lettuce on ciabatta.
"It’s perfect for an impromptu alfresco lunch on the North Shore," Food Network writes.
It featured in a list that also includes New York City's legendary Katz's Delicatessen.
"It's such an honor to see our hard work included alongside so many inspiring food pioneers and innovators in the country," Northern Smokehaus said on its Facebook page.
