Eden Prairie gas station sells Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million

Somebody out there is holding onto a winner!

Someone who recently purchased a Mega Millions ticket in Eden Prairie won a million dollars.

According to the Minnesota State Lottery, the $1 million winning ticket for the June 4 drawing was sold at the Shady Oak BP gas station at 11190 W. 62nd St. in Eden Prairie.

The lottery doesn't note when the ticket was purchased, but somebody out there is holding onto a goldmine. Unless, of course, the ticket got trashed or went through the wash. That would be a big oops.

The ticket matched the first five winning numbers but missed the Mega Ball, which would've won the jackpot. The winning numbers in the June 4 drawing were 25-37-46-48-68 with 25 being the Mega Ball.

The BP station will collect a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The winner has one year to claim the prize.

Nobody won the grand prize drawing so the jackpot for the June 7 Mega Millions drawing is worth an estimated $530 million.
