A Stillwater family has launched a business offering Minnesota State Fair vendor-branded apparel, filling a void for those who want to represent their favorite fair brands.
Love the Fair is a new company that has teamed up with some of the State Fair's "most iconic" vendors to offer T-shirts and other apparel with the brand's logos on them.
The Keran family — who are big fans of the fair — got the idea to offer State Fair-themed apparel when co-owner Tim Keran went online to buy a shirt from his favorite vendors Tom Thumb Donuts and Pronto Pup.
Then his son, Sam Keran, got an idea and called a bunch of State Fair vendors. They were also interested in offering merchandise for fair lovers. (Food vendors at the State Fair are prohibited from selling merch from their booth; they can sell it online.)
So, Sam, Tim and his mom Connie launched their small business, with their website LovetheFair.com going live in July 2021. That's where people can buy merch from popular vendors, with more brands to come.
“After the fair was canceled last year, people were reminded how much they love the fair. We see the passion that surrounds the fair community, and we want to be a part of connecting everyone back together," Sam Keran said.
Among the brands available in "many" colors and sizes, with most items ranging in price from $24 to $42. :
