It's expected that Caliendo will be working on new material and impressions.
Frank Caliendo

Well-known comedian and impressionist Frank Caliendo will put on a show this summer in Minneapolis.

Acme Comedy Company announced Thursday the popular comedian will headline a night of comedy at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 17. General admission tickets were available online for $39, and quickly sold out, with Acme adding a 9:30 p.m. show.

"He is well known for his impressions of famous personalities Donald Trump, Morgan Freeman, Al Pacino, Robin Williams, Robert DeNiro; politicians George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama; broadcasters John Madden, Charles Barkley, and Jon Gruden; and talk show hosts Dr. Phil, Jay Leno, and David Letterman," Acme's announcement reads.

Caliendo is expected to work on new material and impressions during his one-night stand in Minneapolis.

"Though Frank can be highly known for his variety of sports-related impressions, he makes his live shows appealing for everyone in attendance by continually including a little bit of every major genre - sports, political figures, and celebrities," Acme said, noting that Caliendo's shows are family friendly.

Other big shows at Acme this summer include Adam Carolla Aug. 27-28. Check out the club's event calendar here
