Free COVID vaccine = free beer at Lake Monster Brewing Monday

The brewery has teamed up with a local pharmacy to hold a vaccination clinic Monday evening.

Still need a COVID-19 vaccine? Well now you can sup on a free beer after getting one at Lake Monster Brewing in St. Paul Monday evening.

The brewery at 550 Vandalia St. is teaming up with St. Paul Corner Drug for a pop-up vaccination clinic between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

There will be 300 doses of the Johnson & Johnson single-shot COVID-19 vaccine available for free, with no insurance required.

And to act as a sweetener, the brewery will provide a free beer to anyone who turns up to get their shot.

You don't need to make an appointment, with walk-ups accepted while supplies last, but you can if you want to make sure of one. Click here to reserve a slot.

With the initial surge of demand for COVID-19 vaccines now dissipating, health officials and healthcare providers are looking for new ways to reach out to those who still haven't had their shots.

Target announced last week it would be offering $5 gift cards to anyone who gets a vaccine at one of its in-store CVS pharmacies, while the Minnesota Department of Health has shifted its vaccine strategy to a more targeted campaign in hard-to-reach communities.
