Free summer movies at Target Field Station include a string of classics ... and 'Space Jam'

The summer movie events have proved popular.
Publish date:

Summer movies are returning to Target Field Station and the schedule for this season has been released.

The first free showing of the summer takes place next Wednesday with a fitting showing of "A League of their Own."

The schedule is filled with old and modern family classics, including "Mary Poppins," "Raiders of the Lost Ark," "The Princess Bride," and "The Lion King."

Oh, and there's also "Space Jam," the Michael Jordan vehicle which we couldn't bring ourselves to refer to as a "classic."

Cult favorite, maybe.
