The father of the recently-born North West is stopping in the Midwest -- specifically Minneapolis -- during his upcoming concert tour, the Star Tribune reports.

West, who released the surprise album "Yeezus" earlier this year, tweeted news of the tour Friday morning with a one word announcement.

Target Center confirmed West's show, which will be Nov. 5. Tickets go on sale Sept. 13, and are $99.50, $69.50, $49.50 and $37.50.

West's website says the tour will encompass 23 dates in North America, and will feature a "surprise guest" on some of the tour stops. Minneapolis is not one of those dates, however.

Opening up for the rap star is upcoming rapper Kendrick Lamar.

The shows mark West's first major tour in five years. The rapper last played the Twin Cities in 2008 during his "Glow in the Dark" tour.

Apart from his music, Kanye West is known for his relationship with reality television personality Kim Kardashian, who is also the mother of North West.

Also coming in concert is Jay-Z, who the Star Tribune says will bring his Magna Carter Tour to the Xcel Energy Center Nov. 30.

Tickets go on sale Thursday and are $32.50, $59.50, $99.50 and $125.
