There will be more activities at St. Paul's CHS Field this winter, with the home of the Saints set to add a skating rink to its "Destination Winter" program.

The baseball stadium will once again host the Winter Super Slide, which debuted during Super Bowl LII and is coming back again for this winter.

And this year it will be joined by the Wells Fargo Winter Skate ice rink, which is relocating to CHS Field from Landmark Plaza so that there's more space for the upcoming St. Paul Winter Carnival.

Destination Winter St. Paul will run from Dec. 6 to Feb. 22, and will culminate on the final day with a parade to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the "Miracle on Ice."

As well as daily skating, the rink will host broomball, youth hockey, and skating rinks for visitors to Lowertown.

It will be located along the 3rd baseline of the field and will be free of charge for visitors, with skate rental costing $5 or free for Wells Fargo cardholders.

The SuperSlide meanwhile will cost $10 for adults and $7 for children, which gets you unlimited slides during a one-hour time slot.

There will be concession stands serving hot food and drinks during Destination Winter. You can find more information about it here.
