Glensheen Mansion reveals new coffee bar (plus donuts) in historic Carriage House garage space

Glensheen Mansion, the historic 39-room estate on Lake Superior, now has a coffee shop.
Glensheen's new Coffee Bar will open Monday, June 21, according to a news release. For sale will be coffee from Duluth Coffee Company, and donuts from the locally owned family bakery Johnson's Bakery. Classic glazed, chocolate, and sugar donuts will be $1 apiece.
Coffee Bar is located in the garage space of the estate's Carriage House.

The idea, the news release explains, came from a donor who was at Glensheen for a morning meeting, "enjoying a cup of coffee on the shore of Lake Superior and remarked something along the lines of 'Wouldn’t this be cool for guests to experience too?'"
