Go grab a cheap slice at The Cheesecake Factory
The Cheesecake Factory is celebrating its favorite day of the year.
In honor of National Cheesecake Day, the restaurant is offering a delicious deal: any slice for half price on Sunday and Monday.
There's over 30 flavors to choose from, including a new "Celebration" cheesecake that just debuted Sunday. It's layers of original cheesecake, vanilla cake, strawberry, chocolate and vanilla mousse topped with cream cheese frosting and topped with colorful sprinkles.
That sounds good enough to eat off of the floor.
For every slice of Celebration Cheesecake sold through August, The Cheesecake Factory will donate 25 cents to Feeding America. More info on the promotion here.
Minnesota only has one Cheesecake Factory in the whole state (until the second location opens later this fall), so be prepared to wait in a long line.
Other Cheesecake Day events
If you don't feel like braving the mall crowd, there are some other places to get your cheesecake fix.
Gigi's Cupcakes in Golden Valley has an array of flavors, including Classic Cherry, Peanut Butter Cup, and Banana Pudding.
Nadia Cakes boasts that it won Food Network's Cupcake Wars for its "famous" cheesecake cupcakes. They're located in Woodbury and Maple Grove.
The shop is making one of a kind flavors for the holiday, and some of them are definitely intriguing: Jalapeno Popper, PB & J, Moscow Mule, Mermaid, and Pepperoni Pizza.

And if you want a little booze with your cheesecake (why not), Muddy Paws Cheesecake in St. Louis Park is hosting its first-ever pairings event.
There's a catch though – it's BYOB. Bring something that'll match well with these flavors: Honey Vanilla, Nutella, Pecan Praline, New York, Very Berry and Chocolate Salted Caramel.
