Robin Williams is currently at the Hazelden Addiction Treatment Center in Minnesota, to "fine-tune and focus on his continued commitment" to sobriety, the actor's representative tells USA Today.

Williams, 62, will remain there for several weeks, the Huffington Post reports. The site also details his long struggles with addiction, including a rehab stint in 2006 after two decades of sobriety.

His visit to Hazelden was reported after he turned heads by showing up at a Dairy Queen in Lindstrom, Minnesota, Sunday night – a spot not known for big-name Hollywood stars.

Williams was subdued, not the zany persona he often portrays, but he was gracious enough to pose for a photo with 15-year-old Abby Albers, who was working at the counter, WCCO radio reported.

“I didn’t think it was actually him (at first), because I didn’t understand why he would be in Lindstrom at the Dairy Queen,” she told WCCO. The Lindstrom Dairy Queen promptly posted the event to its Facebook page.

The reason for his visit to the town of less than 4,500 was not known at the time, but multiple outlets have since reported about the actor's check-in to Hazelden.
