Grand Casino celebrates 30th anniversary with more than cake

Hundreds of thousands of winning dollars are on the table.
Grand casino

In April of 1991, Grand Casino Mille Lacs cut a red ribbon in honor of its opening, and the celebration has continued ever since.

This month, the casinos have plenty ways to win! And that's just the tip of the celebration.

Guests push for major cash

At Grand Casino Mille Lacs, the Push It drawings total $303,030 (get it, for their 30th anniversary?) and 18 final contestants have a chance at the huge pot of cash on April 30.

To throw their names into the ring, Guests can rack up free entries every day they visit, and they can earn more entries by playing casino games. Come in on Mondays for bonus entries.

To sweeten the pot even more, the prize patrol will randomly find three contestants an hour on April 17, from noon to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 10 p.m. Guests just need to be playing slots to participate in the Wannabe a Winner celebration, which rewards $100 to $3,000, as well as bonus entries to match the winnings.

Classic carnival game, with a $70,000 twist

Meanwhile, over at Grand Casino Hinckley, the Big Ducks Big Bills drawing offers Guests a chance to pick a duck and win cash and prizes worth some very big bills.

Five Guests win every half hour from 6 to 9 p.m. — 70 winners in all — and two lucky ducks are each heading home with $10,000 in cash.

The drawings happen April 16 and 30. Get a free entry every day you come in and more for playing your favorite games. What’s more, on Mondays, all entries are multiplied by four, or, as Grand Casino likes to put it, “Entries are QUACK-drupled.”

The club. The rewards.

The Grand Rewards club at Grand Casino is an easy and free way Guests can reap all the offers and benefits mentioned here and from their visits. Guests get a card that they swipe at kiosks or machines, and generous points are awarded every time they play. Guests use these points for cash back or for free play, aka “Grand Play™.”

Right now, new members have the chance at $1,000 in Grand Play™ when they join.

To join, a Guest can head to the Rewards Desk to quickly receive a card.

Safety first

While Grand Casino is open, cleaning and sanitizing measures are in place, social distancing is practiced, and a few restaurants and bars remain closed.

This is to ensure Guests are welcomed back as safely as possible.

"Truly a community celebration"

Through the last 30 years, Grand Casino has created thousands and thousands of stories. The latest and greatest slot machines are on the floor, favorite foods are dished up, combined with plenty of ways for Guests to win – all offer the perfect makings of a great Grand Casino story.

The 30th Anniversary is truly a community celebration. Come celebrate at Grand Casino and let's toast to 30 more great years.
