Green + The Grain has closed its St. Paul location Tuesday "until further notice" amid the COVID-19 pandemic and as many people continue to work from home.
The salad and wrap restaurant and mobile eatery, which is popular among workers in the Twin Cities for lunch, announced Monday it would close its Wells Fargo Place location for awhile.
In total, Green + The Grain has six restaurants in Minneapolis and St. Paul, but the Wells Fargo Place closure means both St. Paul locations are temporarily closed.
"With the temporary closure of our St. Paul locations, we will be focusing our energy on Minneapolis and our mobile eatery for the remainder of the year," Green + The Grain wrote in a Facebook post.
Meanwhile, Green + The Grain plans to reopen its LaSalle Plaza location in Minneapolis this week. When that spot reopens, only one Minneapolis location, at the Oracle Centre, will be closed, the company's website says.
The restaurant is also "working hard" on developing an "in-house delivery system" for the fall and winter months, "with hopes to better reach all of our customers WFH (work from home)," the Facebook post said.
"These are challenging times for sure, but we will continue to pivot and adapt with the most positive outlook ahead. We are truly grateful for the continued support from all of our amazing, loyal customers. Huge thank you to our very own frontline workers, who continue to work hard each and every day during these difficult times," the post added.
Green + The Grain typically shares its upcoming food truck locations for the week on social media. Here's this week's schedule:
