HealthPartners releases most popular baby names of 2019 in Twin Cities

These are the top names of babies born at HealthPartners centers.

Oliver and Amelia are the most popular names for babies born in 2019 at HealthPartners birthing centers in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. 

The health care provider announced the top names delivered in its hospitals, with both names taking the top spots for boys and girls, respectively, for the first time. 

Most popular boy names: Oliver, Theodore, Jackson, Aiden, Graysen. 

Most popular girl names: Amelia, Isabella/Isabelle, Luna, Sophia, Evelyn. 

Evelyn was the No. 1 name for girls born in 2016 and 2017, while Emma took home the top spot in 2018. The three previous most popular boy names are William, Henry and Lincoln. 

HealthPartners birth centers are located in the Twin Cities, central Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
