Guinness just put a ridiculous room on Airbnb – and you can actually afford it

My goodness, my Guinness!

My goodness, my Guinness! You can win a free night's stay at the legendary Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, just by writing a short essay.

The contest is part of Airbnb's "Night At" series, which has given people the chance to spend the night in some pretty cool places, like inside London's Abbey Road Studios, the Paris catacombs and Fenway Park.

This month's location is a Toucan-themed stay at Guinness' Gravity Bar, which has a 360-degree, panoramic view of Dublin. The bar will be transformed into a loft, and include a Guinness tasting bar and life-sized Jenga, among other amenities.

The winner and a guest will also get a VIP tour of the brewery and Guinness Storehouse, a lesson on pouring the perfect pint of Guinness, and a six-course, Guinness-themed private dinner by the brewery's executive chef Justin O'Connor. Then, the next morning, you'll get breakfast at the Gravity Bar, and Guinness brewer Peter Simpson will teach you all about brewing Guinness.

The winner and a guest will also get economy class return travel from the winner's home, transportation from the Dublin Airport to the Guinness Storehouse, and back to the airport when the trip is over.

How to enter

The contest is for the night of April 24, so you'll have to be 21 by the time of your stay.

All you have to do is click the "enter here" button on this page and log in with your Airbnb account. Then, in 50-200 words, answer the question: "What makes you the world's biggest Guinness fan."

The contest is open until March 22. A panel of judges will pick the winner, who will be "chosen entirely on merit" based on two criteria: "someone who is passionate about Guinness and beer" and who submits an answer that's "original and authentic, with warmth and wit."

The winner will be picked on April 3 and notified by email within 24 hours. For more rules about the contest, click here.

This will be the first time someone who doesn't have the last name Guinness will sleep on the property.
