After months and months of waiting, Hamilton: An American Musical finally arrives in the Twin Cities this week.

The Broadway phenomenon makes its debut at the Orpheum Theatre on Wednesday, and on Monday the lottery to get $10 tickets opened up.

The lottery will be held two days before the performance people are applying for, starting at 11 a.m. and continuing until 9 a.m. the day before the performance.

Winners will be told by text or email whether they have been successful at 11 a.m. the day before the performance, and they'll be then given the chance to buy up to two tickets using a link and code.

You can enter by downloading the Hamilton app, http://hamiltonmusical.com/app, or by visiting http://hamiltonmusical.com/lottery.

Tickets aren't transferable, and can be picked up at will call 2 hours prior to the performance. Entrants must be over 18 and valid photo ID that matches the name you use to enter.
