After a successful pilot episode last year, Heather and Brad Fox will be returning to HGTV with an eight-episode series this summer.

HGTV confirmed Wednesday that it has given the green light to a new series of "Stay or Sell."

The show sees the Foxes, who have been running their Minnetonka-based realty and design company, Fox Homes, for almost a decade, give clients the opportunity to either renovate their current home or buy another property nearby that can be customized to their desire.

It is a huge deal for the Foxes, but it will also serve as a major advert for the Twin Cities considering the whole series will be set in the metro area, much in the same way Chip and Joanna Gaines' "Fixer Upper" is set in Waco, Texas.

"We’re really excited to show off more of Minnesota!" Heather Fox told BMTN.

"Throughout our 8 episodes we’re featuring some great local artisans and creatives that we know everyone will love. The couples that we’re doing projects for are amazing and we think everyone will love the heart of this show.

"We started filming in November and should wrap in April. It’s been a bit intense, but a lot of fun. The projects are very large scale and I think people will get good insight into the real projects and our business too."

Judging by those filming dates, it looks as though HGTV viewers will be getting a serious taste of the Minnesota winter, with Heather Fox saying winter is a "huge 'character' in the show."

The eight-episode series of "Stay or Sell" will premiere in late summer 2019.
