HGTV's Chip and Joanna Gaines dine at North Loop restaurant

It's not the first time the 'Fixer Upper' stars have spent time in the Warehouse District.

Yes, it's one of those "celebrities spotted enjoying Minnesota" stories.

The celebs in this case are Chip and Joanna Gaines, arguably HGTV's most famous export thanks to their phenomenally popular show, "Fixer Upper."

They were spotted on Tuesday evening in Nolo's Kitchen & Bar, the restaurant that opened at 515 N. Washington Ave. in fall 2017.

While dining, the famous DIY couple posed for a picture with fan Rachael Hoff, who posted it to Instagram and caused a flurry of interest when it was shared by Nolo's.

Nolo's chef and co-owner Peter Hoff told the Twin Cities Eater that the couple were gracious with fans who approached them in the restaurant, while more diners turned up on Wednesday in the hope that the pair returned.

While we're not 100 percent on what brought the couple to the Twin Cities, they do have a commercial deal in place with Minneapolis' own Target, which carries the couple's "Hearth and Hand with Magnolia" homeware line.

And Joanna Gaines at least is no stranger to the North Loop, given she popped into the local Pacifier children's store this past December during a visit to chilly Minnesota.
