Fresh off the first season as the stars of HGTV's "Stay or Sell," Heather and Brad Fox are expanding their footprint in the Twin Cities.

The couple, whose business Fox Homes comprises both real estate and property renovation, are taking over a space at 4400 France Ave. S – on the Edina-side of France and 44th.

They're in the process of transforming the 4,000-square-foot former home of Linhoff Photo into a design studio, retail shop and realty office called Foxwell, with a view to opening it in the late spring.

Heather Fox told BMTN that their current headquarters in Minnetonka is "busting at the seams," so an expansion was necessary.

"Our construction staff will stay in Minnetonka and half our Realtors will stay there as well. We’re busting at the seams in our current space, but will keep it," she said.

"The Edina space will be a full functioning design studio (right now we’re crammed in an office!), the retail space and room for more agents. We will be hiring a few more people too – realtors and designers as we expand."

This summer, the Foxes saw the first season of "Stay or Sell," in which they renovated Twin Cities homes, debut on HGTV.

They're currently waiting to hear from HGTV about whether the show will get renewed, but are wasting no time in the interim to capitalize on their rising star.

Following in the footsteps of another famous HGTV couple, Chip and Joanna Gaines, the Foxes have created their own brand name in Foxwell, with around 1,000 square feett of the Edina space dedicated to selling the homewares and accessories they use to decorate their renovated homes.

Around a quarter of these home goods will be from local artisan makers, Heather Fox told Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine earlier this week.

In the long term, they're hoping they could manufacture and sell large-scale furniture under the Foxwell name.

A further 1,000 square feet in the Edina property will be used for property design, and the remaining 2,000 will provide office space for Fox Homes realtors.
