Coming right out of left field, Hugh Jackman is going on tour, and he's coming to St. Paul.

The Wolverine actor has proved himself to be an outstanding singer, as his opening number for the 2009 Oscars proved, and he displayed his vocal talent in last year's smash movie The Greatest Showman.

Now he's going on a world tour called The Man. The Music. The Show, performing songs not only from The Greatest Showman, but also his role in Les Miserables as well as many more from Broadway and film.

And it's good news for Minnesota fans, because his tour includes a stop at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on Saturday, June 22.

Tickets for the show go on sale next Friday, Dec. 7, at 10 a.m. local time at

Jackman played circus entrepreneur PT Barnum in The Greatest Showman, which featured songs from Oscar-winning pair Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.

While the movie itself had mixed reviews, its soundtrack was a huge hit, topping the charts in multiple nations.
