Imagine Dragons, which formed in 2009, saw success in the 2010s and continues to be one of the best-selling rock bands with 46 million albums and 55 million songs sold, a news release says. The top three rock songs of the decade belonged to the band, including Believer, Thunder and Radioactive.
Mercury - Act 1 is Imagine Dragons' fifth album and was released on Friday. It's described as a "candid album that that abandons metaphorically charged lyrics and instead embraces emotional extremities, holding nothing back," a release said.
The album is the band's first album since ORIGINS, which was released in 2018.
