The Grammy Award-winning band Imagine Dragons is heading to Minnesota next year.

The band on Tuesday announced a tour for their new album Mercury - Act 1, which will stop at the Target Center in Minneapolis on Sunday, Feb. 27.

The 2022 tour, produced by live nation, kicks off Feb. 6 in Miami, Florida, and ends in Pheonix, Arizona, on March 14.

General tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 10, on Ticketmaster. People with American Express can buy tickets early, starting at noon on Tuesday.

Imagine Dragons, which formed in 2009, saw success in the 2010s and continues to be one of the best-selling rock bands with 46 million albums and 55 million songs sold, a news release says. The top three rock songs of the decade belonged to the band, including Believer, Thunder and Radioactive.

Mercury - Act 1 is Imagine Dragons' fifth album and was released on Friday. It's described as a "candid album that that abandons metaphorically charged lyrics and instead embraces emotional extremities, holding nothing back," a release said.

The album is the band's first album since ORIGINS, which was released in 2018.
