You know those times when even the merest of mention of Minnesota on the national stage is worthy of a story? Yep, this is one of those.
Give us a break, it's the weekend.
In our defense, the mention of Minnesota came from within the walls of The Oval Office, home to the president himself.
But it wasn't President Trump who uttered the hallowed word, "Minnesota," no, it was Kanye West.
The rap legend was in D.C. for his much-reported upon meeting with President Trump, when talk turned to the Foxconn plant planned for Racine, Wisconsin.
Except that Kanye thought it was in Minnesota.
"We can empower pharmaceuticals, we can empower our industries, we can empower our factories, we can bring not only Adidas onshore, we could bring Foxconn to set up a factory in I think Minnesota," he said.
"Wisconsin," the president corrected him.
Normally we'd go berserk over someone mistaking Minnesota for Wisconsin, but in fairness to Kanye, we dare say around 95 percent of Americans wouldn't know where the Foxconn plant is being built either. Here's some background on it from CNN Money.
