Katy Perry announced for festival during Final Four in Minneapolis

She'll play the third of three nights of music at The Armory.

Katy Perry will headline the music festival planned at The Armory during Final Four week in Minneapolis.

The NCAA announced that Perry will headline the free Capital One JamFest at the Armory on Sunday, April 7.

JamFest is one of three events being held as part of the 2019 NCAA March Madness Music Series at The Armory.

It will follow the AT&T Block Party on Friday, Apr. 5, and Coca-Cola Music slated for Saturday, Apr. 6. Acts are yet to be announced for either of these events, and more are expected to be announced for the Capital One JamFest as well.

Perry is known for global hits including "California Gurls," "Firework" and "Roar." 

Opening for her will be record producer/DJ Zedd, with whom she's just released the single "365."

Tickets for JamFest will be made available for Capital One cardholders at 10 a.m. on March 19, before general sale tickets become available at 10 a.m. on March 22.

The NCAA Men's Final Four will take place between Apr. 6 and 8 at U.S. Bank Stadium.
