Lift Bridge Brewing to start hosting pub quizzes via Zoom

The Stillwater brewery is encouraging Minnesotans to join in.

Cooped up at home and looking for a diversion? Help is on the way courtesy of Lift Bridge Brewing.

The Stillwater craft brewery has announced it will be hosting twice-weekly virtual bar trivia events starting 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

It will be using the video conference platform that suddenly everyone knows about, Zoom, as well as the quiz platform Kahoot!

Each quiz will have a different theme, with this Tuesday's being Minnesota State Fair Foods, with Stephanie March, the food writer for Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine, the host.

Sessions will be 30 minutes long, with winning teams getting a $25 discount code to the Lift Bridge online store.

"Beer is optional but encouraged if you are of age!" Lift Bridge said.
