Lizzo returns to MN for a New Year's show at Myth

The formerly Minneapolis-based musician will rock your NYE Party in Maplewood.

The Twin Cities get a very special guest for the holidays this season, when world-beating diva Lizzo returns to the area for a New Year's Eve performance at Myth.

Lizzo's longtime friend and Go 95.3's own Sophia Eris will anchor the show's supporting cast, which also includes Oxnard rhymer Brooke Candy and 20-year-old Chicago emcee CupcaKKe.

Fresh off the release of her kiss-off anthem "Truth Hurts," Lizzo's stock is at an all-time high, and yet the rapper/singer still finds time to shout out the city she first made waves in.

The hilarious "Truth Hurts" video winks at the Minnesota Vikings, and Lizzo acknowledged on Twitter that the time was right for a homecoming show.

Tickets for Lizzo's NYE bash go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. at Mythlive.com.
