LL Cool J headlining Kings of the Mic Tour coming to Twin Cities

Fans of classic hip-hop will have a chance to see four of their favorite acts all in the same place in May.

Target Center has announced that LL Cool J, Ice Cube, Public Enemy and De La Soul will play the venue May 30 in a Minneapolis stop on their Kings of the Mic Tour.

The tour is playing 26 cities nationwide. Tickets for the Minneapolis show go on sale Friday.

In addition to their careers in music, LL Cool J and Ice Cube have both had successful turns in television and film.

LL Cool J currently stars in the CBS hit "NCIS: Los Angeles" and has starred in such films as "S.W.A.T" and and "Any Given Sunday"; and Ice Cube has starred in such big-screen hits as "21 Jump Street," "Three Kings," the "Friday" and "Barbershop" films, and "Are We There Yet?"
