The critically acclaimed podcast "In the Dark" will be featured on "60 Minutes" on Sunday.
The podcast, which is produced by St. Paul-based APM Reports, has produced two seasons. The first looked at the investigation into the abduction of Jacob Wetterling.
The second season, which is what is featured on the upcoming "60 Minutes" episode, investigates the case of Curtis Flowers, a Black man from Winona, Mississippi, who was tried six times for the same crime.
Flowers was cleared of all charges in part thanks to the publicity the case got from the podcast, which is produced by Samara Freemark and hosted by Madeleine Baran.
For the "60 Minutes" episode, correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi traveled to St. Paul in October as "In the Dark" recorded its final episode of season two, which features the podcast's first interview with Curtis Flowers.
"60 Minutes" will air Sunday following Sunday Night Football at 6:30 p.m. on CBS.
"In the Dark" is currently working on its reporting for season three.
