Louis CK's attempt to rehabilitate and restart his career following his admitted sexual misconduct comes to the Twin Cities this week.

And comedy fans here appear to be interested.

CK will perform eight shows across four days at the Acme Comedy Company in Minneapolis this week. He's doing back-to-back shows (8 and 10:30 p.m.) Tuesday through Friday this week.

What should you expect? Well, the shows are ages 18-plus as usual for Acme, but the club specifically notes, "Especially this performance." And the box office site to buy tickets includes this alert: *Louis CK is trying new material. XXX Adults only*

As of Monday morning, all but two shows (the late ones Thursday and Friday) are completely sold out, and those appear to have limited reservation tickets available.

No phones or smart watches will be allowed in the show space. They'll all be taken and stored by the club until after the gigs. Anyone caught with one in the performance space will be kicked out.

CK was one of the most celebrated comedians of the 2000s. But in 2017, five women told the New York Times CK asked if he could masturbate in front of them, or had stripped down and started to do so without asking. Other women made additional similar claims. CK fully admitted to the behavior.

He made a surprise return to the stage in August of 2018, and since then has been doing occasional shows around the country.
