M.A. Rosko is bidding farewell to FOX 9 after 19 years, but promises it won't be a "Minnesota goodbye."
The features reporter, who joined KMSP in 1999, confirmed her departure on her Facebook page Thursday morning.
"I can barely express the gratitude I feel toward all of you who shared your stories with me, watched the show, got up early to do live shots, rallied the troops to make the best possible TV for our viewers," she wrote.
"I'm leaving daily reporting at Fox9 to take some time to travel, Scamp, reboot and file some stories from the road."
FOX 9 plans on paying tribute to their long serving reporter at 9:30 a.m. Friday.
"Tune in Friday morning for what I promise will not be a Minnesota goodbye," Rosko wrote.
She told the Star Tribune that she plans to stay in Minnesota, saying it was "time to take a deep, long breath."
