Web Catch: Um, Mr. Councilman? Your mic is on

Word to the wise: when nature calls, make sure your microphone is off before you answer.

Especially if you're in the middle of a city council meeting. (Or if you're the focus of HBO's The Jinx – we're looking at you, Robert Durst.)

Hats off to Georgetown, Texas, Mayor Pro Tem Rachael Jonrowe, who just barely held it together while making an impassioned plea about infectious disease.

An unidentified councilman forgot to switch his microphone into the 'off' position while using the bathroom, providing some unexpected sound effects to Jonrowe's delivery.

Jonrowe finally lost her composure when the councilman flushed. It's safe to say she held it together far longer than most would have.
