McCormick and Schmick's Minneapolis location is closed for good

It's the latest restaurant to close since the pandemic started.

McCormick and Schmick's on Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis is closed for good.

The Minneapolis location has been removed from the seafood restaurant chain's website and according to Google, it is permanently closed.

Howard Cole, the COO of the restaurant, told WCCO in a statement that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it decided not to renew its lease and will close.

The restaurant was on Nicollet Mall for 20 years, the Star Tribune reports

There is still one other Minnesota location, at the Westin Galleria hotel in Edina.
