If you ever found yourself pining for home while in Yokohama, you can at least grab yourself a Minnesota beer.

That's because Indeed Brewing Company, of Northeast Minneapolis, has announced its latest collaboration will take its brews across the Pacific Ocean, where they'll be distributed in Japan.

It follows a partnership deal struck with the Nagano Trading Company to introduce its beer "and improve views about American craft beer in the Japanese market."

The first order of the beer has seen brews including its famous Day Tripper Pale Ale, the B-Side Pilsner, the Lucy Session Sour, and seasonal beers including the Mexican Honey Imperial Lager, Stir Crazy Porter and Let It Ride IPA, make the trip to Japan.

They're now on sale at Nagano Trading Company's "Antenna America" showroom and tasting room in Yokohama.

"Adventure and exploration have always been part of the Indeed ethos, so exporting to Japan is a natural fit for us,” said Indeed co-founder, Tom Whisenand. “We are not aiming to sell large volumes of beer in Japan.

"Rather, we are looking to make connections with a new group of customers that are excited about American craft beer and will hopefully be excited about Indeed.

"Ultimately, we think we can add to the excitement around American craft beer in Japan and in turn, that excitement will add to the Indeed story going forward."
