A Minnesota brewery came up with its new beer after going on a binge ... a Netflix binge that is.

Dangerous Man Brewing of Northeast Minneapolis on Friday introduced its newest concoction: The Lemon Almond Frangipane Ale.

As the brewery tells it on Facebook, it was created "conceived after binge-watching 'The Great British Baking Show,'" the addictive BBC baking competition that is broadcast on PBS in the U.S. and several seasons of which are on Netflix.

Dangerous Man's beer is described thus: "Brewed with loads of oat and wheat, alongside honey malt and lactose, this beer is full bodied and bursting with zesty lemon and sweet almond."

"Paul Hollywood would give this one a handshake for sure!" it adds, a nod to one of the Baking Show's judges, who gives out handshakes for the very best of bakes.

The Lemon Almond Frangipane Ale is now on tap at the brewery at 1300 NE 2nd St.

Frangipane, by the way, is an almond paste-based pastry filling, notably used in the Bakewell Tart, the Pithivier, and the Galette Des Rois (Kings Cake).
