Ireland Larson really wanted to see Imagine Dragons.

She heard the world famous rock band was on tour and would be stopping in Chicago, where the 7-year-old Larson is at Lurie Children's Hospital, waiting for a new heart.

So Ireland, whose family moved to Chicago from Minneapolis in April, made a video.

"I was wondering if you could come, because I really, really, really, want to see you guys, because you're my favorite band," she says, before offering them $5 and some candy if they visit.

So when Imagine Dragons stopped by the hospital as a complete surprise Monday, guess what they brought? $5 from each band member, plus a big bag of candy.

Kathleen Larson, Ireland's mother, told ET Online the band's tour manager got in touch – but didn't mention all four members of Imagine Dragons would be coming.

"They came with no security, stood in line to get passes to come upstairs, were told they had to wait to get in and did so patiently. They sat on the floor in her room and talked about princess, watched Frozen and just hung out," it says on Ireland Larson's Facebook page, which chronicles her journey.

Ireland was born with a congenital heart defect, according to a Give Forward page set up to help the family. She's had three open-heart surgeries already, and after multiple complications, spent a month at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis, where the family had been living. She was evaluated for a potential heart transplant, and was accepted at a hospital in Chicago, where she and the family are now.

Ireland wanted to go to the Imagine Dragons concert in Chicago, but her mother told ET Online she has a chest tube and is on medication, which makes going to see a band impossible.

It doesn't, however, stop the band – Dan Reynolds, Daniel Wayne Sermon, Daniel Platzman and Ben McKee – from coming to see her.

"I can not thank the Imagine Dragons enough for hanging out with Ireland this morning, and making one of her dreams come true," Ireland's dad Cody Larson wrote, according to Give Forward.

You can check out the family's Give Forward page to donate. So far, more than $17,000 has been given. There's also a song, called "Send Me an Angel: Ireland's Song" you can download on Amazon or iTunes; proceeds go to support the family.

Last month, KARE 11 visited Ireland, and spoke to the Larson family about their journey – and to the teenage cancer survivor who sings on "Send Me an Angel."
