Minnesota is losing one of its three Cost Plus World Market stores, with the Roseville location shuttering this weekend.

For weeks now there has been a closing down sale at the store, which is located at 2401 Fairview Ave. N., opposite the Rosedale Center.

And it will close its doors for good this Saturday, with Cost Plus World Market confirmed it's a result of its lease expiring in Roseville.

Its two other Minnesota locations, in Bloomington and at the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes, will remain open.

"All of our current Roseville store associates have been offered positions in our two open stores in the market, which will remain open for business," a World Market spokeswoman told BMTN.

World Market stores sell a wide selection of home furnishings, kitchenware, and gift items, as well as a range of foreign dried foods and snacks.

"We have had continued success in the Minneapolis-St. Paul market and community and we endeavor to find a new location to replace the Roseville store as soon as possible.

"Until then, we hope those customers will shop our nearby stores in Maple Grove and Bloomington or online at www.worldmarket.com."
