The Minnesota kid with the world's largest mouth gape was featured on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday night.

Isaac Johnson, a teenager who attends Minneapolis Washburn, first set the Guinness World Record for largest mouth gape in 2019, only to have someone from Pennsylvania break his freshly minted record a few months later.

Johnson set the record in 2019 with a 3.67-inch gape. The person who broke his record months later reset the record with a gape of 3.75 inches. But Johnson, who was 15 when he set the mark, was still growing – and his attempt to reclaim the record in 2020 revealed his gape had grown to an incredible 4 inches.

Actress and comedian Wanda Sykes was guest-hosting for Kimmel Wednesday night, so she welcomed Johnson and played a game called "Will it Fit?" with the Twin Cities teen. Not-so-shockingly, everything the late night show threw at him fit in his mouth, including:

  • Softball
  • Brick
  • Magnifying glass
  • Baby doll head
  • VHS of the Jaws movie

The show surprised Johnson at the end of the four-minute segment with a couple of prizes, including a giant toothbrush and a Playstation 5 gaming console.
