Want to live like an NBA star? Well, you have a chance now that former Timberwolves star Ricky Rubio has put his place on the market.
The sixth-floor penthouse suite in the Tower Lofts building at 700 North Washington Avenue, in Minneapolis' North Loop, has just hit the market for $1.225 million.
It's owned by the former Wolves point guard Rubio, who is now plying his trade in Utah having been traded last year.
Listing agent Jado Hark, of Realty Group, told CityPages that the reason it's taken so long since his trade to hit the market is Rubio let his ex-teammate Nemanja Bjelica stay in the suite last season.
With Bjelica now playing in Sacramento, the 3,183 square foot space, comprising 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, is now available.
The penthouse suite is heavy on the exposed ductwork and concrete that has become a feature of Minneapolis' trendy Warehouse District.
Standout features include a vintage, 1800s bar, which can be found in the sprawling living space that comprises a lounge, dining area, kitchen, and games area.
It comes with access to the Tower Lofts' rooftop patio, not to mention being in a prime location opposite The Freehouse and the many other bars and upmarket restaurants that make up the North Loop.
And if you're in the mood for a meander over to see a Wolves game, Target Center is about a 15 minute walk.
