If you want to experience the magic of the film classic "The Wizard of Oz," the yellow brick road apparently winds through Minnesota.

The Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, has been named one of the top 10 "Wizard of Oz" destinations in the world. The destinations, which aren't ranked in any particular order, were compiled by CheapFlights.com. The list comes as the film celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2014.

Grand Rapids, of course, is the birthplace of Frances Gumm, who eventually changed her name to Judy Garland in Hollywood. The anchor of the museum is the house Garland lived in from birth to age 4, when her family relocated to Los Angeles.

"The home has been restored to its original state and features a number of mementos from Garland’s life and career," CheapFlights says. "One item that will be of particular interest to Oz fans is the original carriage used in 'The Merry Old Land of Oz' musical number. The museum did hold one of the original pairs of ruby slippers, but sadly these were stolen in 2005."

The museum is also adding more than 3,000 new "Wizard of Oz" and Garland artifacts, which will be unveiled at Grand Rapids' "Wizard of Oz" festival, which is set for June 10-15.

The other destinations on the list include Sony Pictures Studios (formerly MGM Studios), where the film was created, and the National Museum of American History at the Smithsonian Institution, where another pair of Dorothy Gale's (Garland) ruby slippers are housed.

The Huffington Post has a slideshow of the all the destinations.
